When road tripping the West Coast, we nipped into a wee tavern for some snacks and a drink. On the wall they had a world map and a pot of pins and they asked all their patrons to add a pin to the map of where they were from.
I was really keen to add a pin, but unfortunately lots of brits had already beaten me to it. There were so many pins across Europe, it was so cool to think so many people had gone to the same place I had.
I found it really interesting that the map of New Zealand was quite clear – it just shows how spaced out the towns are here, meaning there’s lots of green space and natural beauty.
